It’s in the South Island, New Zealand. Behind me you travel an hour and it’s bright sun, sea and surf. In front of me a dry river bed and then a centuries old 80ft high glacier that goes all the way up to Mt Cook, a good few miles behind. The really amazing thing in all this though is that the greenery either side is tropical jungle!!! It’s the only place on earth where this level of nature diversity exists in such close proximity. It’s incredible!!!
